Adrian Lamo – a great hacker, a good friend :)

I have always aspired to become a hacker from my childhood and admired all the hackers who have been in the Internet community and Hacking community and have made a name for themselves in the Internet and Hacking world. I find myself very lucky to be have had conversation with many of the biggies with whom people admire to have a conversation atleast once in life. Adrian Lamo is one of the prominent names in the Hacking Industry I want to talk about.

I used to have good conversation with Adrian Lamo on his facebook page and twitter and I was very happy to be connected to him for a long time until we stopped having conversation on a regular basis. Yesterday Kevin Mitnick posted on his facebook page about passing away of Adrian. It was such a sudden news that it triggerred a sad mood in all of Hacking and Internet community. Many people who had knew him on personal level or had conversations with him online were stunned to hear the news and couldn’t beleive, however when it was confirmed from Adrian’s father and Kevin it was too disturbing to accept the truth that we lost a great hacker, a legend, a friend.

Our first conversation happened when quoted him on a tweet from Kevin Mitnick and both were instant in their replies. However there was a bit of fun and leg pulling between both but I still respected both. I`m happy to share the tweet here: https://twitter.com/kevinmitnick/status/759263526527635456 and my reply on that tweet where Adrian replied sarcastically. 🙂

And for one last time I had a very funny and iconic conversation with him when I quoted him as one of my ideal hackers with Kevin, he jokingly said, please leave me out of that sentence 😉

This whole conversation can be read here: pls2leave me out of that sentence. I will remember that my last conversation we shared a great smile and a nice decent online friendship which only broke with his departure to heaven. I wish for his soul to rest in peace. RIP Legend. 🙂
