Jungle Book – Mowgli :)

We all used to watch Jungle Book cartoon in our childhood which was written by Rudyard Kipling and had enjoyed a lot. About the story of Mowgli, SherKhan and Bagheera. My weekends used to be locked on to TV to see episodes of Jungle Book and how Mowgli was lost in the village and grew away from his family in the jungle. We got to know that Jungle book movie was released by Disney Digital in 3D recently and in Hindi so I made a plan with some of my friends to watch this movie.

We bought the tickets online as usual and then went to Xion, E-Square Hinjewadi which was the nearest cinema theatre near our place. We were very excited as we knew that the voices in Hindi for various characters were of very prominent and established actors we were eagerly waiting to experience it first hand from our friend cirlce.

The movie started very well with Mowgli sound of child artist and the story moved on. When mowgli was in danger, suddenly Baloo appeared from nowhere and we he was the bear who was friendly to Mowgli and we were happy to hear Irrfan Khan`s voice in that. It was well suited to him at his voice is always in the relaxation mood and does not want to do any work which suited Baloo`s character. He taught Mowgli a few things how to catch Honey from the beehive and live a decent life. Then before the visual, the voice of villian came…..ShereKhan with the voice of Nana Patekar, it was so terrifying that everyone in the jungle got afraid. It was a very intense moment and the whole jungle was afraid, we were thinking who would save Mowgli from the villian ShereKhan…..and then there was fast moving panther Bagheera voiced by Om Puri to the rescue.

It was the whole story of Mowgli and the entire cast which made the whole experience superb. There was voices of Priyanka Chopra for the voice of Kaa which made it very interesting as we had not known of Priyanka voicing in for the movie. At last Mowgli along with the other animals in the jungle and the villagers fought with ShereKhan and defeated it. We had a very good experience after we watched the movie and came home smiling. 🙂
