My dad was coming from Bangladesh and he had flight from Chittagong to Kolkata, Kolkata to Mumbai to Surat. It was the first time I was vising Surat Domestic Airport. Dad called me up from Mumbai that he would be boarding flight from Mumbai in some mins and we were geared up to welcome him in Surat Airport.

It was around 2015hrs IST and the flight from Mumbai was arriving, I wanted to keep a memory of it so clicked a picture of the terminal. It was for my amazement that the Surat Domestic Terminal was very small and also the plane that arrived from Mumbai, Spice Jet`s aircraft was just like a mini aircraft.

It was a nice visit to the airport and I felt like I visited a mall and then did window shopping and then came back. I hope that Surat Airport becomes International Airport soon….. 🙂
